The Other Hundred Educators Launch Event

The Other Hundred Educators had a successful Launch Event on May 24th, 2017 at the Atrium of Hysan Place in Hong Kong.

The Other Hundred Educators is the third in our series and is about a world of education that goes beyond elite institutions and school rankings. It celebrates the educators who pioneer unique ways of transferring knowledge, skills, cultures and traditions. Atop mountains and beneath the waves, aboard buses and beside railway tracks, in prison and in the tents of nomads – here are the world’s most extraordinary classrooms.

A selection of stories from The Other Hundred Educators: 100 Faces, Places, Stories were on display. The book is the result of a worldwide competition for stories which received over 1,000 submissions from over 130 countries.

The Other Hundred Project Founder Chandran Nair spoke about the project along with several of the winning photographers whose work was featured in the book.
