The Other Hundred Educators and Asia Society joint Panel Discussion

The Other Hundred and the Asia Society Hong Kong Centre co-hosted an evening panel discussion on Monday 13 March, 2017. Moderated by Project Director Chandran Nair, panelists Ada Wong (Founder of the Hong Kong Institute of Contemporary Culture), Amirali Nasir (Vice President of the Law Society of Hong Kong), Kelly Yang (Founder and Managing Director of the Kelly Yang Project) and Ivan Abreu (winning photographer of The Other Hundred Educators) had a probing discussion on the purpose of education and how to better provide the types of education that people really need and at the same time nurture systems that do not simply focus on exam marks, school rankings and graduate salaries.
