Annette Nijenbanning graduated from the Academy of Arts in Utrecht in 1995. Although she has been taking photographs for half a lifetime, she only started her professional education at the photo-academy in Amsterdam in 2014. In 2015 she was awarded Honorable Mention in Fine Art at the International Photography Awards.
