Since 1983, Reza has been a volunteer committed to training young people and women from conflictridden societies in the language of images. Since 2013, he has conducted workshops through his association, Reza Visual Academy. His recent work has included workshops at the Kawergosk refugee camp in Syria, and at the Kabarto and Arbat refugee camps near Sulaymaniyah in northern Iraq.
